Cameroon
In Cameroon, health and well-being education is supported by an institutional framework established in 2007 across pre-primary, primary, secondary and teacher training levels. The content is integrated in a cross-cutting manner into several subjects (science, civic and moral education, early learning activities, etc.), enabling schools to address health, protection and psychosocial skills throughout the learner’s educational journey. Regular training sessions are organised to strengthen the capacities of teachers and their pedagogical supervisors.
